Soccer Camp
Max and Madison are at soccer camp this week and are having fun for the most part, except the hot Texas sun. Here's a picture of Madison "looking cool" during a break.
I'm off tomorrow to shoot the Jr. Olympic volleyball team tournament. Should be fun but exhausting at about 10 hours each day.
I hope to see some other posts here besides mine. I know you guys can do it! :-)

Hi! Okay, I'll be the family idiot. Knowing nothing about computers I had a very difficult time with this. Through Frank and Keith's help I am trying this out. I'll try to post a picture. Thanks for the advice David on pixels, but first I have to figure out what that means! I'm glad to see the participation, this means a lot to Frank. Bear with me!

Snow in March
Here's a quick snapshot of Madison playing in the snow we had in March and now it's 98 degrees.
I'll try to post some old family phtos that I've scanned later.
Let's keep this going. It's simple to make a post and add an image. Also, if you want to see a bigger copy of the image, just click on the image and it will open up in a new window at full size. I'd recommend uploading nothing bigger than 1000 pixels on the longest side otherwise it could take quite some time to upload.
Tell us what you're up to and post a quick snapshot or two!

Our Ancestry DNA Test
I have always been interested in just how much indian we had in our family blood lines so I had my mom (Dee, Dolores, Pixie) take a DNA test. We got the results back about a week or so ago and the results are in...
99% European and 1% Asian Indian. No American Indian blood from the Sloan side of the family. My guess is that the dark skin comes from maybe French or Cajun influence. I could have another test done that will break down the European ancestry, but not sure if I'll do it.
If anyone wants to do their own test you can do it by clicking here.

Update from David Bailey
I was at the Texas Motor Speedway this weekend shooting (photography not a gun) the Indy Racing League and NASCAR Truck Series. A lot of work but I had great time.
You can check out all my images from there (including Robbie Knievel jumping 21 Hummers) at http://www.photoshelter.com/usr-show/U0000ECs9Z2vfLXM
I'm shooting the Jr. Olympic volleyball team the end of this month, that's a new experience and should be fun.
It will be interesting to see what get's put up here.
