Max races in the Texas Off Road Nationals

Max has been riding dirt bikes on and off for about a year or so. Last year he road his Honda 80 a few times and at Christmas he got a Yamaha YZ125 (2-stroke). The leader of his youth group at church is a motocross/enduro racer and has really built an interest in dirt bikes with most of the guys in his group. About 10 of them now have dirt bikes and ride about 2-3 times per month. Today Max raced for the first time. It was an eye-opening experience for him and he did pretty well. He raced a 1 hour timed race in the TORN championship in the 125cc Amateur class. He finished about mid pack (we'll get the times tomorrow when they are posted to their web site). He fell a few times and go a few scrapes and bruises, but nothing serious. Here are a couple of photos of the day.
