I just wanted to share a movie Wanda and I watched over the weekend. The movie title is "Taking Chance" starring Kevin Bacon. The movie is based on a true story of a Marine Lt. Col. that volunteers for escort duty in April, 2004. The movie is based on the journal that was kept by Lt. Col. Mike Strobl. Lt. Col. Strobl escorts the fallen 19 year old soldier Chance Phelps home to Wyoming. The movie chronicles his trip from Dover AFB to the small town in Wyoming.
The movie shows the care and appreciation that is shown for these soldiers by their fellow soldiers and the public that come in contact with the process.
A warning have plenty of tissues ready for everyone who watches this movie. We received the movie through our Netflix account I would believe the video would be available through most any video store.
